The video pays homage to the 1964 science fiction novel by Oles Berdnyk, Ukrainian writer, cosmist, and political dissident. The protagonist is Ori, a non-human entity capable of traveling between worlds and across near and distant times. Through its more-than-human gaze, the Earth appears as a place ravaged by war and violence, its inhabitants on the brink of extinction. Faced with this discovery, Ori leaves its world to enter the human realm, joining an unfinished struggle for peace.
