3D-printed sculptural frames

2023

The two frames function as both sculptures and portals. What appears within each frame depends on the viewer’s position in space and their gaze. The installation addresses the attempt to capture something longer than a moment. From one side, the frame functions as a screen showing the past; from the other, it reveals a different image. As the viewer moves, the framed image shifts between past and present, destruction and hope, life and death. The frames do not simply present an image but actively structure visibility, making the video content dependent on the viewer’s orientation, distance, and movement.
